3D Designer/Drafter in Industry

Which organization will you join as a CAD Designer (M/F) ?
We are currently looking for a CAD Designer (M/F) on behalf of our client, a key player in the industrial sector, to support a variety of projects involving the design and implementation of technical equipment and industrial facilities.
CAD Designer (M/F) – What will be your roles and responsibilities ?
Reporting to the Activity Manager and working closely with Project Managers, your main responsibilities will include:
• Designing and implementing industrial equipment (pressure vessels, piping systems, production lines, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.) as well as buildings (foundations, steel structures, cladding, roofing…).
• Producing technical drawings and layout plans based on information provided by various departments (calculation notes, technical specifications, schematics, etc.).
• Delivering workshop- and site-ready drawings, including detailed bill of materials, technical schematics, and execution or assembly procedures.
• Anticipating and resolving technical layout issues in coordination with project managers.
• Creating PFD (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) as per project guidelines.
What profile and skills are needed for the CAD Designer (M/F) role ?
• Education
A minimum of a 2-year technical degree (e.g. DUT, BTS, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or similar fields.
• Experience
At least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in engineering or project execution related to production units or equipment.
• Technical Skills
Proficiency in 3D CAD software: AutoCAD, Plant3D, Revit, Architectural, NAVISWORKS.
Knowledge of industrial equipment such as piping, pumps, heat exchangers, and steel structures is highly valued.
Ability to produce accurate, site-ready technical documentation.
• Personal Attributes
Technically curious and solution-oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges.
Valid driver's license is required (travel to client sites may be necessary).
