What kind of organization will you be joining as a Draftsman / Design Technician ?
We are recruiting, on behalf of our client specialized in the design and construction of water treatment infrastructure, a Draftsman / Design Technician to support the development of technical studies for large-scale water projects.
What will your responsibilities be ?
As part of the engineering department, your main mission will be to technically develop designs for drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work closely with the project engineers and other technical teams.
Your key responsibilities include:
Technical skills:
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for 3D modeling and 2D drawing production
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic calculations (flow profiles, head loss)
• Understanding of civil engineering principles
• Familiarity with electromechanical equipment installation
Bonus skills:
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and sizing methods
• Ability to read and communicate in technical English is a plus
Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role in the water, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is desirable

What will your responsibilities be ?
As part of the engineering department, your main mission will be to technically develop designs for drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work closely with the project engineers and other technical teams.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Creating technical drawings, diagrams, and part lists for one or more installations
- Producing calculation notes required for the design of the systems
- Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, contractual data sheets, water treatment instructions, and applicable codes and standards
- Reporting on the progress of your assigned studies in coordination with your line manager and the project engineer
- Developing detailed construction drawings for execution on site
- Internal contacts: All engineering department staff, as well as commercial, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams
- External contacts: Subcontractors and partners
- The position is based in Lyon, with an initial onboarding period at the Maurepas site (Yvelines – 78).
