To strengthen our teams and continue our growth, we are looking for a Business Manager (Senior) (M/F) based in Port Gentil, Gabon.

Business Manager (Senior): What will your responsibilities be?

Your role will involve providing consulting services in the energy sector and managing single-project construction assignments.

As the guarantor of your Business Unit’s growth, you will be responsible for business development and responding to client needs for technical services.

Direct Management

• Onboarding and training a Business Engineer
• Monitoring weekly activity metrics for candidate interviews and prospecting by your team member
• Ensuring your team member meets their objectives
• Training and enabling your team member’s success

Business Development

• Commercial prospecting and building a client portfolio
• Selling technical services in France and internationally
• Negotiating sales contracts
• Maintaining client relationships and ensuring loyalty
• Contributing to the company’s commercial strategy
• Achieving commercial targets

Recruitment and Management of Technical Consultants

• Candidate sourcing
• Conducting phone and in-person interviews
• Salary negotiations
• Leading and managing your team of consultants
• Overseeing career development and skills growth of team members
• Ensuring consultant satisfaction and retention during assignments

Business Unit Management (consultants deployed at client sites)

• Administrative and financial monitoring of your Business Unit
• Meeting commercial margin objectives
• Managing consultant and client contracts
• Maintaining client relationships

What profile and skills are required for this Business Manager (Senior) position?

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree (Engineering or Business School) with a specialization in engineering, business, or management
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial consulting firm, with strong commercial and project management responsibilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of industrial engineering and technical professions
• Ability to identify client needs and build relevant proposals
• Mastery of sales, negotiation, and project management techniques
• Ability to recruit and lead a team of consultants
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
