In which organization will you work as a Civil Engineering Project Engineer – Structural Diagnostics (M/F)?

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a recognized player in engineering and environmental and infrastructure consulting, a Civil Engineering Project Engineer specialized in Construction Supervision and Structural Diagnostics (M/F).

The position is based in Lyon or Paris, with regional travel.

 

Civil Engineering Project Engineer – Structural Diagnostics (M/F): What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Reporting to the Regional Head of the Infrastructure Department, you will be involved in a wide range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on structural diagnostics and repair works.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to civil engineering and infrastructure activities, including structural diagnostics, repair works, and construction supervision (construction management / site supervision);

  • Managing the technical and contractual aspects of engineering studies and construction supervision projects;

  • Contributing to and leading the technical delivery of engineering studies and assignments (design, diagnostics, structural repair, and associated construction supervision);

  • Performing or supervising the modelling and structural design calculations of standard civil engineering structures using structural analysis software;

  • Relying on internal specialist teams when specific expertise is required;

  • Contributing to the development of the Infrastructure business line, including proposal preparation, client follow-up, and relationship management.

What profile and skills are required for this position?

Education

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s degree – Bac +5) in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design office and/or on construction sites in the field of Civil Engineering, including experience in design, structural diagnostics, and construction supervision.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of design, structural diagnostics, and construction supervision assignments;

  • Proven skills in structural justification and modelling;

  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and technical writing skills;

  • Well-organized, autonomous, with strong interpersonal skills;

  • Enjoys teamwork and is equally comfortable with fieldwork and office-based work.

Salary and benefits

  • Permanent contract (CDI) – position available as soon as possible;

  • Attractive salary depending on profile and experience, between €40,000 and €55,000;

  • Benefits package including RTT (additional leave), meal vouchers, health insurance, Social and Economic Committee (CSE), and other associated benefits.
