Which organization will you join as a Geotechnical Project Manager (M/F)?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a recognized player in the engineering and infrastructure sector, a Geotechnical Project Manager (M/F).

Job Title : Geotechnical Project Manager (M/F) – Studies & Construction Supervision

What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Reporting to the Regional Head of Infrastructure for the Grand Ouest region, you will be involved in a variety of projects with a strong geotechnical and civil engineering component. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in geotechnical and infrastructure activities through the technical and contractual management of study and construction projects;

  • Contributing to and leading the technical delivery of geotechnical engineering studies as well as construction supervision missions, particularly on the following topics: quarries, dikes and dams, river and maritime structures, waste storage, foundations and associated structures;

  • Preparing calculation notes, writing technical reports, overseeing and monitoring construction sites as part of construction supervision assignments;

  • Relying on internal specialist teams when specific expertise is required;

  • Participating in the development of the Infrastructure business line: proposal preparation, client follow-up, and relationship management.

 

Profile and skills required for this position

Education
Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s degree – Bac +5) in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.

 

Experience


5 to 8 years of experience in a design office and/or on construction projects in civil engineering, geotechnics, or earthworks.

 

Skills

  • Solid experience and good knowledge of geotechnical engineering studies and, ideally, construction supervision;

  • Analytical, listening, and synthesis skills;

  • Organizational skills, autonomy, and recognized interpersonal and writing skills;

  • Strong interest in teamwork, client contact, and both fieldwork and office-based work.

Salary and benefits

Permanent contract (CDI) – position available as soon as possible;
Attractive salary depending on profile and experience;
