Where will you work as Commissioning Manager (PC&C)?
For one of our clients, a leading EPC player, we are hiring a Commissioning Manager (PC&C). The role is home-office in the Paris area during preparation, then site mobilization in Sohar, Oman from mid-2026 (after Paris scope completion). Start: November 2025 – End: May 2028.
Commissioning Manager (PC&C): Missions & responsibilities

Lead preparation, planning and execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning in line with OPERCOM, budget, schedule and local regulations; report to the Project Director.

Foster Safety & Quality, assess risks, escalate technical/safety issues.

Embed commissioning in engineering: PFD/P&ID reviews, 3D model, HAZOP; ensure commissioning requirements are captured in engineering/procurement docs.

Define Systems List & boundaries, develop start-up sequence and build level-3/4 PC&C schedules with planning.

Author PC&C documentation (procedures, instructions, manuals, lists, method statements) and contribute to operating procedures.

Coordinate interfaces (ICSS, Telecom, Company items, Completion & Handover) and drive the Area-to-System transition.

Witness pre-commissioning by construction subcontractors and secure handover at RFC/RFSU with as-commissioned docs.

Build and mobilize the PC&C team, size vendor assistance, spares, tools, consumables and temporary equipment; ensure temp equipment availability.

Deploy and operate the CMS (ICAPS, EasyPlant or similar), organize training.

Track progress/cost, produce weekly/monthly reports, implement corrective actions and lessons learned.

Support operator training and performance demonstration post-RFSU.

Spot visits to Sohar possible during Home Office; full site mobilization from mid-2026.
Ideal profile & skills
Education
-
Engineering Master’s degree with strong leadership.
Experience
-
10+ years in pre-commissioning & commissioning (onshore/offshore LNG a plus); 3+ years process/operations background recommended.

Solid site exposure, knowledge of SIMOPS and site risks.
Skills
-
Fluent English; French is a plus.

Tools: MS Office, Power BI, PDF/Bluebeam, 3D tools, CMS (ICAPS/EasyPlant); bonus: HYSYS, Flarenet.

Hands-on mindset, excellent organization, team leadership and interpersonal abilities.
