We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the Oil & Gas sector a Construction Supervisor - Piping for a field-based assignment as part of an onshore project (installation, maintenance, or brownfield works).
Construction Supervisor - Piping : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As part of the onshore operations team, you will be responsible for supervising piping system implementation, ensuring safety, quality, and proper execution of the work. You will also be involved in modification, testing, and mechanical completion activities.

Construction Supervisor - Piping : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As part of the onshore operations team, you will be responsible for supervising piping system implementation, ensuring safety, quality, and proper execution of the work. You will also be involved in modification, testing, and mechanical completion activities.
Your responsibilities include:
Execution and work supervision:
- Oversee piping installation, minor modifications, and specific projects.
- Review work requests, evaluate necessary resources, and organize material requirements (tools, documentation, PPE).
- Manage craft teams (welders, pipefitters, assemblers) and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Technical monitoring and documentation:
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and support/structural plans.
- Supervise installation of both rigid and flexible piping, including static and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, skids, tanks...).
- Manage hydrostatic and pneumatic line testing and ensure full compliance.
- Produce "as-built" sketches and handle mark-up returns for documentation closure.
Quality, safety, and coordination:
- Enforce applicable HSEQ rules, secure work areas, and participate in safety campaigns.
- Manage mechanical completion (MC) including punch list follow-up and final validation.
- Plan workforce in coordination with the overall site schedule.
- Ensure efficient shift handovers.
Education: Secondary education with technical specialization (e.g. CAP, BEP, Bac Pro, BTS) or apprenticeship in piping/boilermaking.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in piping installation and maintenance.
- Proven supervision experience on Oil & Gas construction sites, including brownfield projects.
- Strong skills in reading plans and coordinating multi-disciplinary personnel.
Technical competencies:
- Knowledge of fittings, welding, connections, supports, and sealing systems.
- Experience with piping installation on static and rotating equipment.
- Proficiency in hydro and pneumatic testing.
- Solid understanding of bolting standards: MJI 10, MJI 18, MJI 19.
Languages: Good level of spoken and written English.
Driving license: Valid driving license (UAE or equivalent).
