We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients in the chemical industry, a Reliability Engineer (M/F) to be based near Liège.
Reporting to the Head of the Maintenance Expertise Unit, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development and evolution of the reliability strategy for installations.
- Defining specific performance indicators (KPIs) related to reliability, analyzing them, and using them to guide corrective and preventive actions.
- Collecting, structuring, and interpreting technical data required for reliability analyses (plans, P&ID, historical data, etc.).
- Leading and coordinating studies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) on targeted systems.
- Writing detailed reports on observed anomalies and deviations.
- Identifying and proposing improvement opportunities, whether technical, organizational, or training-related.
- Optimizing maintenance plans, creating maintenance procedures for systems and components, ensuring their implementation, and updating associated documents (FMECA, plans, etc.).
- Managing small improvement projects related to reliability.
- Providing methodological support to internal teams.
- Collaborating closely with the Engineering and Quality departments on investigations or projects involving reliability aspects (design, FMECA, etc.).
- Working in synergy with the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) unit during inspections.
- Occasionally interacting with clients during site visits, audits, technical meetings, or installation/improvement projects.
- Developing expertise in applied mechanics for infrastructure and work methods, and actively sharing this knowledge within the organization.
