In which organization will you work as a Process Engineer – Cryogenics / Biogas?
We are looking for our client, an innovative and fast-growing start-up (a subsidiary of a large company) located in Southern Paris (Essonne), for a Process Engineer specialized in low-temperature refrigeration, cryogenics, and biogas treatment, in the context of industrializing cryogenic purification systems.
What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Participate in the design and development of the client product range.

Create and validate PFDs (Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

Perform material and energy balances calculations.

Write detailed process descriptions and functional analyses.

Specify and design equipment using commercial codes or internally developed standards.

Perform calculations for refrigeration systems, including cascade systems.

Provide technical responses to tenders and prepare CAPEX and OPEX estimates.

Prepare datasheets, technical requisitions, and liaise with suppliers.

Technically evaluate and select equipment.

Keep up-to-date with technological developments and measurement systems.

Lead development projects to diversify the technological portfolio.
What profile and skills are required for this Process Engineer position?
• Education
Engineer / Master’s / PhD in process engineering, with solid knowledge in thermodynamics and heat transfer.
• Experience
Some experience, even entry-level (internship / apprenticeship), in process engineering applied to cryogenics or liquefied natural gas (LNG).
• Skills
Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, results-oriented.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
