In which organization will you work as an Electrical & Automation Engineer?

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for an Electrical & Automation Engineer, based in Puteaux.

 
Electrical & Automation Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

We are seeking an Electrical & Automation Engineer to support various tenders in the water and waste sectors, both in France and internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Producing electrical (HV/LV and ELV) and automation studies during the tender phase:

    • HV/LV single-line diagrams

    • Control system architecture

    • Power balance calculations

    • Electrical room sizing

    • In compliance with process inputs, client specifications, and applicable local standards

  • Preparing cost estimates associated with the projects (HV/LV/ELV equipment, control systems, subcontracting, installation):

    • Internal cost estimation

    • Supplier and subcontractor consultations depending on the project

  • Collaborating with the engineering department to define:

    • Main underground cable routing

    • Electrical room locations

  • Writing technical proposals for clients

  • Participating in the definition of cable routing (“chemin de croix”) with civil engineering contractors and other partners/subcontractors

What profile and skills are required for this position?
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or equivalent

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of HV/LV electrical installations and industrial control systems

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation for HV/LV electrical installations and control systems

  • Experience in water treatment and/or waste treatment projects

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit

  • Professional proficiency in French and English is required
