In which organization will you work as a Lead Electrical Engineer?

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for a Lead Electrical Engineer, based in Villeurbanne.

 

Lead Electrical Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?
  • Project organization (interface with project team, client, other disciplines, reporting, scheduling)

  • Technical execution of the project (preparation of specifications and requisitions for electrical equipment / supervision of engineering studies)

  • Strong knowledge of engineering methods and phases (specifications, datasheets, interfaces with other disciplines, subcontractor follow-up)

  • Mastery of electrical standards and calculations

  • Specification of electrical equipment (LV & MV switchboards, LV motors & VSDs), preparation of technical bid tabulations, review of vendor documents, protection schemes, typical diagrams, load lists, power balance, installation studies

  • Participation in interdisciplinary project meetings and meetings with clients and suppliers

  • Follow-up of engineering subcontractors (India)

  • Preparation of construction work packages

 
What profile and skills are required for this Lead Electrical Engineer position?
  • Minimum 10 years of experience required

  • Master’s degree (Engineering degree) required

  • Fluent French and strong English required

  • Autocad (optional), Excel, Word, Visio, Caneco BT, ETAP (optional)

  • Electrical certification/authorization

  • Strong autonomy, coordination, method and organizational skills

  • Experience in revamping projects
