Where will you work as an Equipments and Services Buyer - Spatial sector ?
We are looking for an Equipment and Services Buyer (spatial sector) for one of our clients in the industrial gases sector. The position is available immediately, will last for six months, and will be based in Sassenage (FR-38).
Equipments and Services Buyer - Spatial sector : What will your main tasks and responsibilities be ?
As an Equipment and Services Buyer, you will join a manufacturing program in the aerospace sector and report to the purchasing department. You will be responsible for purchasing equipment and services for the program. In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Supplier Quality Control Managers, and the planning and procurement departments
- Define the project's purchasing strategy, plan and manage purchases and their budgets, from the sourcing phase through to the delivery of equipment
- Ensuring the availability, reliability, and quality of goods and services purchased as part of the program, under the best possible conditions (cost, quality, delivery time, safety)
- Work with the Project Manager and technical departments to research and propose the most optimized technical and economic solutions
- Lead the development of procurement/purchasing for the program, including strategy definition, cost estimates, execution, negotiation, and stakeholder management, in order to maximize total cost savings
- Ensure that purchasing activities and decisions take into account the purchasing and category strategy, if one exists
- Be responsible for the performance of purchases made under the program
Occasional travel across France is to be expected in this position.
What profile and skills are required for this Equipments and Services Buyer - Spatial sector position?
- You have a Master's degree/business school education and proven experience (minimum 5 years) in technical industrial purchasing management, ideally in a complex international context.
- You are skilled in negotiation techniques and have solid legal, financial, and technical expertise.
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
