What kind of organization will you be working for as a Nuclear Planning Expert?
We are looking for a Nuclear Planning Expert for our client specializing in the nuclear sector.
Nuclear Planning Expert: What will your duties and responsibilities be?
In order to strengthen its Energy division, the Engineering Department of the EP2C Nuclear group is recruiting a Nuclear Works Planning Expert who will be responsible for planning new works, covering all phases from studies to testing, including procurement and implementation.
Main tasks:
•Establish and update the schedule for each action, from the design phase to the testing phase, including an associated list of assumptions.
•Coordinate and integrate the schedules of those responsible for the work, and participate in monthly progress meetings.
•For large-scale projects, develop assembly and testing procedures prior to planning.
•Provide a gap analysis, identify the impact of potential delays, and propose corrective actions if necessary.
•Establish and monitor indicators to track the progress of these activities.
•Participate in various steering committees and provide support to the project manager.
•Assist with analysis and feedback on the project.
•Structuring
•Building and resourcing a schedule.
•Handling multi-level/multi-disciplinary scheduling complexity (level 1, level 2, level 3).
•Structuring a schedule in its entirety (deducing the critical path of the schedule and the sub-critical path).
•Coordination
•Managing deadlines and team workloads.
•Monitoring schedule and resource progress.
•Managing a team of planners.
•Analysis
•Consolidating data for analysis (processing changes).
•Analyzing data for action plans and decision-making (managing schedule risk analysis).
•Managing Schedule Risk Analysis.
•Managing contracts and claims with the schedule.
•Communication
•Produce related reports.
•Interact with stakeholders.
•Communicate to the executive committee.
What profile and skills are required for this position of Nuclear Planning Expert?
Education/Experience:
•Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5)
•Minimum 15 years of experience in work planning in an industrial sector (nuclear is a plus).
IT skills:
•Proficiency in project planning methods and tools (e.g., Primavera, Planisware, MS Project, etc.)
•Proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and communication tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
Personal qualities:
•Excellent writing and communication skills.
•Ability to prioritize effectively.
•Interest in the energy sector.
•Communication, responsiveness, and analytical skills are essential for this position.
