Which company will you be joining as a “GLOBAL MARINE ASSURANCE”

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a "GLOBAL MARINE ASSURANCE (M/F)" for a 6-month renewable project based in Ile-de-France, France.

"GLOBAL MARINE ASSURANCE (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Context of the Mission
Carry out services within the offshore marine department, supporting the Company’s global marine operations.

Objectives and Deliverables
Objectives:
Provide technical expertise in the field of marine assurance for all types of vessels supporting the Company’s offshore operations (e.g., logistics vessels, drilling rigs, diving support vessels, floatels, construction vessels).

This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Perform quality control of OVID inspection reports commissioned by the Company, in compliance with OCIMF quality standards
  • Review the close-out proposals submitted by vessel technical operators in the OVID reports and provide recommendations for the Company’s vetting decisions
  • Provide ad-hoc technical advice and consultancy when required, such as technical analysis to support vessel selection
 
What profile and skills are required for this “GLOBAL MARINE ASSURANCE” role?

Skills                                                                                                                                           Level

English (ability to write technical reports)                                                                                  Proficient

Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer License                                                                  Expert 

OVID accreditation (current or past)                                                                                          Expert

Offshore experience (minimum 10 years, including 5 as Master or Chief Engineer on complex offshore support vessels
