What kind of structure will you be joining as an HVAC Project engineer?
We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients—a major player in the pharmaceutical industry—an HVAC Project engineer (M/F) to be based in Île-de-France.
What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing, analyzing, and validating HVAC systems required for the project, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations (local and pharmaceutical standards).
- Assessing thermal and ventilation needs for buildings.
- Collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Participating in the drafting of technical specifications and requirement documents for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Coordinating with quality, validation, EHS, and user teams, as well as the site’s engineering and EHS departments.
- Overseeing commissioning work and conducting tests to ensure installations comply with project requirements.
- Carrying out commissioning and qualification activities for HVAC systems.
- Coordinating with other disciplines (validation, quality, automation).
- Interfacing with contractors (HVAC, process equipment, etc.).
What profile and skills are required for this position?
Desired profile:
- Degree in thermal engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC project design and management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
- Autonomous, but also a strong team player.
- In-depth knowledge of current standards and regulations.
- Experience with automation systems, BMS (Building Management System), and industrial networks.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations related to air quality in GMP production areas.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
