What kind of organization will you join as an Industrial Building Project Manager ?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial organization for a Project Manager – Industrial Buildings (M/F). You will join a multidisciplinary team involved in the design, construction, and layout of industrial buildings, within technically demanding and high-value projects.

Industrial Building Project Manager: What will your responsibilities be ?

As an Industrial Building Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of industrial construction projects, from early design phases through to commissioning and handover.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Technical and financial project management
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle: feasibility studies, technical supervision, budgeting, and contractor management.
• Ensure quality execution, compliance with deadlines, and cost control.
• Team management
• Lead and coordinate a project team composed of project engineers and technicians.
• Drive performance, ensure alignment, and support team development.
• Client relations
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients throughout the duration of the project.
• Act as the main technical and operational point of contact.
• Promotion of internal expertise
• Represent and promote the company’s know-how and capabilities.
• Support the commercial team in developing and submitting tailored technical proposals.
  

What profile and skills are required for this Industrial Building Project Manager role ?

• Education:
Engineering degree in civil engineering, building construction, or equivalent.

• Experience:
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the design and/or execution of industrial buildings.
Background in process-related industries (food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc.) is a strong asset.

• Technical skills:
Strong expertise in civil engineering, earthworks, structural works, steel frameworks, and roofing.
Solid costing, budgeting, and financial tracking skills.
Excellent knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including ICPE compliance.

• Personal skills:
Strong leadership with the ability to manage and align multidisciplinary teams.
Organized, autonomous, and analytical mindset.
Commercial acumen and a proactive attitude toward industrial challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills for managing interactions with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Languages and other requirements:
Good command of technical English is desired.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
