Where will you work as a SCADA Engineer (AVEVA System Platform) ?

We are looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the railway sector, for a SCADA Engineer (AVEVA System Platform) to be based in Paris.


SCADA Engineer (AVEVA System Platform) – Your missions and responsibilities

  • Design and develop SCADA supervision applications using AVEVA System Platform

  • Participate in defining the software and hardware architecture of the supervision system

  • Integrate field data from PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, etc.)

  • Develop graphical interfaces (HMI) and supervision synoptics

  • Implement data exchanges with third-party systems (databases, MES, ERP, etc.)

  • Perform testing, validation, and acceptance of developed systems

  • Prepare technical documentation (specifications, procedures, test reports)

  • Participate in commissioning and provide on-site technical support when required


What profile and skills are required for this SCADA Engineer (AVEVA System Platform) position?

  • Proficiency in AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware SCADA (InTouch, Historian, Application Server)

  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, etc.)

  • Proven experience in developing supervision systems in critical environments (transportation, energy, industry, etc.)

  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Siemens, Schneider, or equivalent

  • Proficiency in version control tools (Git, SVN) and Windows Server environments

  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity would be a plus

  • Degree in Automation Engineering or Industrial IT (Master’s level or equivalent)

  • Minimum 8 years of experience on industrial supervision projects

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, both with project teams and end clients

  • Autonomy, rigor, and a proactive mindset
