In which organization will you work as Instrumentation Engineering Coordinator?
We are looking for one of our clients, a major international LNG / Oil & Gas company, for an Instrumentation Engineering Coordinator, based in France, with regular business trips to the engineering center in India.
Instrumentation Engineering Coordinator: Missions & Responsibilities
• Follow and coordinate instrumentation engineering activities performed by the Chennai engineering center (COC).
• Ensure smooth technical interface between local engineering teams and Chennai teams.
• Perform regular mobilizations to Technip Chennai for supervision, technical reviews and operational coordination.
• Ensure technical quality and compliance of all instrumentation deliverables.
• Follow project schedules and ensure milestone adherence.
• Apply all project rules, QA/QC procedures and industry standards.
• Produce or comment technical documentation as required by the contract (English language).
Profile & Skills required for the Instrumentation Engineering Coordinator
Education
• Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Measurement, Automation or similar.
Experience
• 5+ years in instrumentation engineering within Oil & Gas / LNG projects.
• Experience in multi-site technical coordination or distributed engineering (strong asset).
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation equipment: flowmeters, control valves, ON/OFF valves, safety valves…
• Good knowledge of codes: API, IEC, ISA, ASME…
• Knowledge of instrumentation installation: cables, trays, hook-up, level studies…
• User-level proficiency of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI / Hexagon).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to review/comment PDF documents.
• Comfortable working in fully English-speaking project environments.
Salary & Benefits
• Day rate / package based on profile and experience.
• 6-month renewable assignment.
• Business trips to Chennai covered per company policy.
