What kind of structure will you be joining as a Marine operations coordinator – Offshore Wind ?
We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, a Marine operations coordinator (M/F) to be based in Paris, France.
Marine operations coordinator – Offshore Wind : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As a Cross-functional Marine Operations Coordinator, you will join a small transverse team dedicated to offshore operations, within a multi-project environment with high technical stakes. You will play a key role in the operational coordination of offshore campaigns.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, planning, and monitoring maritime operations such as surveys, maintenance activities, or specific interventions (repairs, corrective actions, etc.)
- Coordinating all stakeholders involved in each operation (project managers, subcontractors, internal services, etc.)
- Monitoring real-time operational execution, providing effective reporting to the LSM Work Package Manager, and contributing to field responsiveness
- Ensuring proper execution of offshore operations, complying with technical, regulatory, and HSE requirements
- Participating in mission preparation meetings, safety briefings, and end-of-operation debriefings
- Providing on-call support during critical phases (weekly rotating basis)
- Contributing to the drafting of contractual deliverables, including weekly reports and lessons learned
- Conducting occasional offshore assignments to directly supervise specific phases of operations
- Proposing improvements to processes, tools, and methods related to marine operations
What profile and skills are required for this Marine operations coordinator – Offshore Wind position?
Education:
- Master’s level, ideally in marine engineering or a related field
Experience:
- Relevant experience in offshore operations preferred
Skills:
- Knowledge of GIS tools is a plus
- Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Strong adaptability to integrate into an existing project team
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead stakeholders involved in operations
- Stress resistance and strong synthesis skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with sensitivity to multicultural and organizational complexity
- Holder of a valid BOSIET certificate
