In which structure will you work as a Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor ?
We are looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor for one of our clients in the renewable energy sector, based in Guadeloupe.
Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor : What will be your missions and responsibilities?
As Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor, you will oversee the verification, testing, and start-up of the site's mechanical equipment. You will work on an energy production facility, interacting closely with the project, operations, electrical, and instrumentation teams. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Supervise the commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and field teams
- Verify the mechanical compliance of installations (assembly, alignment, tightening, etc.)
- Leading and participating in various mechanical tests
- Supporting the start-up and ramp-up phases
- Identifying and addressing mechanical reservations and non-conformities
- Ensuring progress reporting and monitoring critical issues
- Ensuring strict compliance with HSE rules on site
What profile and skills are required for this Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor position?
- You have a two- to five-year degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or equivalent.
- You have proven experience in mechanical commissioning, ideally in energy production.
- You are familiar with thermal power plants, cogeneration, biomass, UVE, etc.
- You are independent, rigorous and have a solid understanding of the field.
- Technical English is required for this position.
