Where will you work as a Mechanical engineering design office Project Manager ?

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Office Project Manager for one of our clients specialised in industrial equipment design. The position will be based in Montceau-les-Mines (FR-71).

Mechanical engineering design office Project Manager  : What will your main tasks and responsibilities be ? 

As Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical R&D Design Office. You will be responsible for:
- Inventing and developing one or more product families, from the specifications to monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring the smooth running of each stage of the projects under your responsibility, by being involved in both project management and the technical aspects of design and innovation.
- Developing and proposing technical solutions tailored to needs, in line with the guidelines defined by the product committees and in close collaboration with the various subcontractors and internal teams (marketing, manufacturing, purchasing).


You will also ensure that you keep abreast of technological developments. 

Occasional travel is to be expected in this position. 

What profile and skills are required for this Mechanical engineering design office Project Manager position?

- You have a degree in mechanical or general engineering, or equivalent.
- You have at least one successful experience in managing projects with a mechanical focus, ideally combining different technical components (electrical, electronic, plastics) in small and medium-sized production runs.
- You have a professional level of English.
- You preferably are proficient in Creo or any other CAD software.
