We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients specialized in the Oil & Gas sector, an “Analysis / Metrology Technician (M/F)” for a 6-month contract based in La Mède, France.

Assignment Context
The La Mède Platform carries out certain works on its installations through project teams that can operate across three sites: the platform itself, the Lavéra depot, and the Grand Moutonnier fresh water pumping station in Istres. To support these teams, technical assistance services are requested, allowing the partner company to provide its specific expertise for a defined period and contribute to the successful completion of the tasks.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily operation and availability of analyzers and metrology equipment.
- Monitor short-term preventive and corrective maintenance contracts for online analyzers and legal metrology devices.
- Participate in defining maintenance methodology: identify improvement actions, propose solutions to minimize failures, define preventive intervention frequencies, etc.
- Manage spare parts and consumables for the Analyzers and Metrology unit.
- Participate in the reception and commissioning of new installations.
- Prepare monthly reporting of operating and maintenance budgets.
Profile and Required Skills for the “Analysis / Metrology Technician (M/F)” Role
Skills
- Desired degree: Bac +2/3 (CIRA or Physical Measurements) or equivalent professional experience
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in an industrial environment (chemicals, petrochemicals)
- Proficiency in analytical techniques: knowledge of analysis (pH, conductivity meter, O₂ measurement)
- Knowledge of HSE regulations
- Key competencies: rigor, autonomy, observation skills, teamwork
- IT: Proficiency in office tools
- Knowledge of intervention procedures for performing technical work
- SAP for all maintenance activities: work notifications, orders, warehouse articles, maintenance plans
