In which structure will you be a BIM Railway Modeler?

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the railway sector for a BIM Railway Modeler, based in Paris.

 
BIM Railway Modeler: What will your missions and responsibilities be?

• Model in 3D with Revit the different elements of railway infrastructures (railway platform, tracks, catenary, signaling, civil engineering structures)
• Integrate and structure technical information within the model according to the project’s BIM standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination (civil engineering, railway track, catenary, signaling, networks)
• Identify and resolve conflicts (clashes) detected during model reviews
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and updating of the digital model throughout the project
• Produce 2D drawings, sections, and 3D views required for design and execution phases
• Collaborate with the BIM Manager and engineers to comply with the defined BIM processes (LOD, conventions, BIM standards)
• Monitor technological developments related to Revit and BIM methods applied to the railway sector

 
What profile and skills are required for this BIM Railway Modeler position?

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (3D modeling, families, schedules)
• Knowledge of BIM principles (Levels of Detail, data management, collaborative workflows)
• Understanding of railway infrastructures (track geometry, civil engineering, structures, catenary/signaling interfaces)
• Ability to read and interpret railway technical drawings
• Familiarity with BIM collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, etc.) is an asset
• Rigor, organization, and strong teamwork skills
