Where will you be working as a multi-skilled instrumentation technician?

 

EP2C Energy is looking for a multi-skilled instrumentation technician to support technical projects in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology industries. You will join one of our client’s teams in Lyon (69) as part of a permanent position (CDI).

 

Multi-skilled instrumentation technician (M/F): What will your responsibilities be?

 

As part of the project teams, you will be responsible for the study, sizing, and preparation of instrumentation components for industrial installations.

 

Your main duties will include:

 

  • Analyzing P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and preparing the corresponding list of instrumentation equipment;
  • Determining the quantity of instruments and assessing the need for junction boxes, cabling, cable trays, and I/O points;
  • Assessing space requirements within existing technical areas;
  • Performing on-site surveys related to cable routing and availability of technical spaces;
  • Preparing technical datasheets for specific instruments in view of supplier consultations for budget estimations;
  • Preparing the necessary documentation for construction contract tenders.

 

What profile and skills are required for this role?

 

Profile sought:

  • Bachelor’s degree +5 (or equivalent) in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering;
  • 1 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
