Where will you work as a nuclear planner?
We are hiring on behalf of one of our key clients, a well-established player in the nuclear sector, for four nuclear planner positions located across various sites in France:
- 1 position in Centre-Val de Loire
- 1 position in Grand Est
- 2 positions in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
Nuclear planner – What will your main duties and responsibilities be?
As part of the project teams, you will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and updating work schedules related to interventions in nuclear environments, especially during outage periods.
Your main responsibilities include:
Schedule Development and Management
- Build baseline schedules and tracking tools during the preparation phase
- Estimate durations in collaboration with project managers and technical leads
- Regularly update planning and progress reporting based on field data
- Ensure consistency between GPS tasks, work orders (FOT), and synoptic documents
Client Coordination and Communication
- Send a daily progress summary (internal and client distribution)
- Advise field teams on overall scheduling and task sequencing
- Participate in client meetings and produce summaries highlighting critical issues
- Dynamically integrate client constraints and formalize delays impacting the schedule
Optimization and Project Monitoring
- Identify critical paths and optimization opportunities within the planning
- Integrate performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor prerequisites and key milestones
- Act as liaison between the production manager and site supervisor to update staff allocation
What profile and skills are expected for this nuclear planner position?
Education
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial planning
- Specific experience with unit outage planning in the nuclear sector is required
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electrical systems (low/high voltage, instrumentation & control)
- Ability to read technical drawings, understand work orders (FOT), and coordinate multiservice interventions
Required Certifications
- Valid HN1 and CSQ certifications
