Where will you work as a Painting & Insulation Works Supervisor?
For one of our clients, a major industrial player in energy/process (onshore EPC – refinery/petrochem/LNG), we are hiring a Painting & Insulation Works Supervisor, based in Grandpuits petrochimical site.
Painting & Insulation Works Supervisor: What will you do?

Ensure strict application of the site HSES plan within your scope.

Coordinate and supervise painting, coatings and insulation activities performed by contractors.

Check daily manpower reports and report progress to the area lead.

Perform inspections per the Quality plan; verify and sign inspection records.

Provide technical support to site teams; act as Client interface on painting/coatings/insulation topics.

Prepare the final dossier; ensure contractors use latest revisions of documents.

Arrange site walks and attend construction meetings; verify constructability.

Review and promote improvements / latest tools & equipment for construction.

Contribute to training of personnel.

With field engineering, review method statements and work procedures from contractors.

Ensure compliance with rules/procedures, proper archiving, effective audits; disseminate Project Quality requirements and issue feedback/lessons learned.
What background and skills are needed?
Education
-
Technical degree in civil/mechanical/materials/coatings (or equivalent site experience).
Experience
-
7–10+ years supervising industrial painting/anticorrosion and insulation works on onshore projects (refinery, petrochem, LNG, heavy chemicals).

Proven contractor supervision, QHSE and Quality control experience on active construction sites.
Skills
-
Strong knowledge of coating standards (e.g., ISO 12944 / NACE/SSPC), inspection (DFT, adhesion, hygrometry) and coating systems.

Insulation know-how (hot/cold service, heat tracing, cladding, CUI prevention).

Reading P&IDs/Isos/Drawings; managing ITPs, RFIs, punch lists, as-built & final documentation.

Solid HSE practices (permits to work, LOTO, ATEX where applicable).

Hands-on leadership, planning and reporting; strong Client interfacing.

Fluent French; working English.
