Which organization will you join as Project Accountant?

We are looking for a Project Accountant on behalf of one of our clients, an industrial player committed to the energy transition, based in Dunkirk (59).

 
Project Accountant: What will be your main duties and responsibilities?


As a Project Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of a strategic program. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Purchase to Pay process (from purchase request to supplier payment)
  • Processing supplier invoices and resolving disputes
  • Contributing to cash flow forecasts (cash-out)
  • Supporting financial reporting and ad hoc analysis
  • Collaborating with local and European project teams (procurement, finance, CAPEX)
  • Using SAP and Excel tools to monitor financial data
  • Participating in continuous process improvement
 
What profile and skills are we looking for in a Project Accountant?

You hold a Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in an industrial environment or project management, particularly in CAPEX project monitoring or in an international context, is a strong asset.

You are proficient with ERP systems, particularly SAP, as well as reporting and data analysis tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel. You have a solid understanding of project management principles and financial control processes, and can handle the entire Purchase to Pay cycle, including resolving invoicing issues.

Analytical, rigorous, autonomous, and organized, you enjoy working as part of a team and can collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You are proactive and able to suggest improvements to processes.

Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is essential. Any additional language will be considered a plus.
