Where will you be working – Project Buyer?
We are looking for one of our clients, operating in the water and waste treatment sector, for a Project Buyer position based in La Défense.
Project Buyer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?
Mission description:

Define and implement the purchasing strategy and manage assigned packages in compliance with project constraints

Conduct supplier consultations, negotiations, and select the best solution in terms of supplies, services, or subcontracting
-
Coordinate allocated resources (SCPM, buyers, logistics engineers, quality control engineers, supplier follow-up, etc.)
-
Secure overall performance (quality, cost, deadlines, contractual and technical compliance, ethical and sustainable development requirements)
-
Draft supplier contracts based on Group templates and negotiation outcomes

Identify and manage procurement risks and opportunities and ensure supplier qualification in accordance with the SRM policy

Manage disputes and claims

Monitor and assess the performance of suppliers, service providers, and subcontractors
Main purchasing categories:
-
Mechanical (piping, pumps, filters, deodorization systems, etc.)
-
Electrical (equipment or turnkey subcontracting)
-
Assembly and commissioning subcontracting
Profile and key competencies for this Project Buyer role:

Experience: 5 to 7 years in the environmental, oil, industrial gases, or energy sector

Fluent English required
-
Knowledge of SAP ERP system
