What will your role be as a Nuclear Project Management Office (PMO) Engineer?


We are looking for a Nuclear Project Management Office (PMO) Engineer for our client specializing in the nuclear sector.
 
 
Nuclear Project Management Office (PMO) Engineer: What will your duties and responsibilities be? 

The PMO (Project Management Officer) or project coordinator is responsible for structuring and assisting in the implementation of projects.
Their role is to coordinate and facilitate all the key stages of a project.
•They assist a project manager or work with management to provide cross-functional monitoring of a set of projects.
•They manage various data: schedules, budgets, deliverable quality, etc.
•To carry out their mission, they liaise with the internal project team (technical staff) as well as with external clients, subcontractors, publishers, or project managers.
•They keep all project stakeholders informed of progress and ongoing deployment. To do this, they write cross-functional reports and minutes.
Coordination
•Manage deadlines and team workloads.
•Monitor progress and resources.
•Manage a team of planners.
Analysis
•Consolidate data for analysis (processing changes).
•Analyze data for action plans and decision-making (planning risk analysis management).
•Manage Schedule Risk Analysis.
•Manage contracts and claims with planning.
Communication
•Produce related reports.
•Interact with stakeholders.
•Communicate to an executive committee.
Skills
•Lead a multidisciplinary team.
•Unite and motivate project teams.
•Facilitate the necessary trade-offs.
•Interpersonal skills, the ability to take a step back, and adaptability are assets for success in a changing and demanding environment.
•Enjoy working in a team.
•Be autonomous.
What profile and skills are required for this position?

You are a graduate of a general engineering school or equivalent, with at least 15 years of professional experience in nuclear planning or project management, ideally with PMP certification. Experience with MSP and/or Paladin software would be a plus.

You have senior-level experience in project or activity management.

You have a good understanding of technical issues in the field of metallurgy or equipment manufacturing, ideally in the nuclear sector.

Areas of expertise:
➢Good command of Office software
➢Mastery of general project structuring methods (task flowcharts, task sheets, WBS, CBS, OBS, etc.)
➢Proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), communication tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), project management tools (such as Unifier or equivalent, + Power BI)
➢Fluent English
