In which organization will you work as an Environmental Project Manager, Ecologist (M/F)?
We are looking for our client, an environmental consulting firm, for an Environmental Project Manager to lead regulatory and ecological projects.
Environmental Project Manager: What will be your missions and responsibilities?
The Project Manager is responsible for the full management of environmental projects, from design to final delivery (impact studies, regulatory files, ecological monitoring, etc.).
They coordinate internal and external teams, oversee the technical, financial, and human aspects of projects, and maintain client relationships.
The position may evolve towards an operational liaison role with the co-manager, ensuring quality, deadlines, and robustness of internal processes.
Responsibilities:

Project management: planning, coordination, monitoring, and ensuring resources, budgets, and deadlines are met.

Team management: supervising 2 to 5 ecological study officers, providing technical guidance and tracking progress.

Communication: main point of contact for clients, partners, and stakeholders; internal and external communication.

Technical and regulatory monitoring: ensuring deliverables comply with environmental laws, internal methodologies, and standards.

Administrative monitoring: contractual and financial tracking, contributing to the department’s objectives.

Continuous improvement: identifying and implementing process optimizations.

Client satisfaction: maintaining a high level of satisfaction and client loyalty.

Business development: responding to tenders and calls for proposals, prospecting new clients.
Profile sought:

Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in ecology, environmental sciences, ecological engineering, or equivalent.

Experience: minimum 5 years in an environmental consulting firm or equivalent structure, working on regulatory projects.

Expertise in impact studies, environmental files, ERC issues, and regulatory frameworks.

Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.

Salary and benefits:

Compensation based on profile and experience: €38K–€44K excluding bonuses
