In Which structure will you be QA/QC Area Manager ? 

We are recruiting for one of our clients, a major industrial player committed to the energy transition, a QA/QC Area Manager based in Dunkirk (59).

QA/QC Area Manager: What will your responsibilities be?

As QA/QC Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance within a defined scope of work throughout all project phases, from Engineering to Material Management, Construction, and Commissioning. Your main responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with project requirements and regulations.

- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement corrective and preventive measures to address quality issues.

- Oversee quality control inspections and testing, analyze results, and improve processes.

- Compile and maintain documentation and reports on quality performance and traceability.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured and addressed.

- Supervise and train the QA/QC team to ensure alignment with quality standards.

What profile and skills are required for this QA/QC Area Manager position?

You hold a Master's degree in a quality-related science and have at least 5 years of experience in QA/QC, ideally in large-scale industrial projects. Experience in the steelmaking industry is a plus.

You have a solid understanding of French construction standards and regulations, as well as ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. You possess in-depth knowledge of at least one quality discipline (e.g., welding, painting, metrology).

You are organized, detail-oriented, committed, and communicate effectively. You are proficient in IT tools such as MS Office and 3D software (AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.).

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
