In which structure will you be a Quantity Surveyor M/F?
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for our client in the nuclear sector?
Quantity Surveyor M/F : What are your duties and responsibilities?
Ensure that materials have been transferred to price lists in accordance with the price definition of works contracts.
Verify and ensure that the quantities reflected in the price lists are in line with the latest MTOs.
Prepare re-measurement methodologies (in the discipline(s) concerned), to be applied on site and implement them with CONTRACTORS.
Estimate/forecast the cost of the various materials required for the project.
Monitor changes in IFC plans and site design modifications; and adjust quantity budget projections accordingly
Participate in discussions and negotiations with CONTRACTORS on quantities, calculated according to measurement rules, and unit rates (for material supply and labor).
Identify potential financial or construction risks
Advise construction contract administration team on improvements, strategies and/or estimated costs
Confirm amount on monthly subcontractor financial status report
Prepare as-built quantities in the form of price slips "
What profile and skills are required for this position?
- Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or construction on revamping activities in the petrochemical industry
- Understanding of engineering science and technology
- Solid knowledge of industrial engineering and construction
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to show initiative
- Sensitivity to IT tools and databases
