Where will you work as a High Voltage Test Manager?
We are looking for a High Voltage Test Manager M/F for our customer specialized in the nuclear / energy / oil&gas sector ?
High Voltage Test Manager M/F : What are your duties and responsibilities?
You will participate in calls for tender and developments in MRE (marine renewable energies) in the field of high-voltage testing.
You will define test documentation during the preparation phase (procedures/reports) in conjunction with the subcontractors involved. You follow the process through to validation by the customer.
In liaison with suppliers, you will plan, organize and carry out high-voltage-related tests:
Conformity testing of high-voltage equipment after it has been made available by the armament team (standalone tests - Transformer / GIS)
Testing of the high-voltage-related protection and supervision system. Monitor progress of input/output tests and manage modifications.
Final integration tests - Compliance of overall high-voltage system operation.
Commissioning takes place mainly at the Saint Nazaire site. Part of the testing is carried out offshore once the substation has been installed.
You will work closely with the assembly teams and the Project Manager in your field to determine priorities and monitor project progress.
You are responsible for validating the functionalities of your scope with the customer.
You ensure compliance with testing processes and best practices.
You implement actions to deal with comments and non-conformities.
You ensure regular and rigorous reporting on your progress.
You manage your files by integrating all aspects of safety, cost, quality and deadlines.
You must be able to detect protection problems.
What profile and skills are required for the position of High Voltage Test Manager M/F?
The contractor will be responsible for the functional management of high-voltage tests, and will report to the works test manager.
-As part of his duties, he will ensure that the safety of people at work is a constant concern.
The service provider must have a solid base of technical skills acquired in the commissioning and testing of high-voltage systems.
-Fluency in technical English is a must.
-For the offshore phase, the service provider must have GWO training and be physically and legally able to carry out offshore missions lasting 14 consecutive days, working 12 hours a day.
