Rotating Engineer

Which company will you be working for as a Rotating Engineer?

We are looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for a Rotating Engineer to be based in Nanterre.

 

Rotating Engineer: What will your missions and responsibilities be?

• Getting familiar with the contract
• Preparing specifications, datasheets and tenders for equipment within the discipline
• Reviewing supplier bids, organizing clarification meetings, preparing the TBT (Technical Bid Tabulation) for the equipment under your responsibility
• Preparing documentation for purchase orders
• Commenting on Vendor documentation
• Participating in tests

The position is carried out under the supervision of the project's Lead Rotating Engineer or the Head of the Rotating Equipment Department, depending on the project. Occasional travel should be expected.

 

What profile and skills are required for this Rotating Engineer position?

• Proven experience as a rotating equipment specialist engineer
• Knowledge of the relevant equipment: centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, gas turbines, steam turbines
• Mastery of API 617 and API 616 standards (essential)
• Ability to work within contractual rules
• Working proficiency in English (for supplier contacts)
• Ability to provide technical reporting to the Technip Energies contact
• Knowledge of offshore environments (a plus)
