We are looking for an RSES-D Company Representative for one of our clients.
RSES-D Company Representative : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As an RSES-D Company Representative onboard the offshore installation vessel, you will be the company’s focal point onboard, responsible for overseeing all underwater installation operations while ensuring HSE, technical, and contractual compliance. Your role is crucial to ensuring safety, stakeholder coordination, and quality execution.
Your responsibilities include:
HSE Policy Monitoring and Implementation:
- Be the main representative onboard the offshore installation vessel, responsible for safety, compliance, and operational performance.
- Ensure communication with the SURF Manager and other representatives on site (FPSO RSES, MWS, night supervisors, project engineers).
- Be the contact point in case of emergencies and implement the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Promote ethical, compliance, and safety rules.
- Supervise all offshore installation activities: installation of rigid and flexible lines, umbilical installation, riser pulling, lifting operations, ROV operations, and pre-commissioning.
- Ensure strict adherence to installation procedures and manage changes (MoC) in case of deviations.
- Monitor material transfers, marine logistics, MCV connections, and barge/supply activities.
- Validate key documents: Ready For Installation, Load-Out, Commissioning.
- Sign the Daily Progress Report for the vessel after review and comment on deviations.
- Provide detailed daily reporting (written report + daily call) to the SURF Manager.
- Anticipate risks, propose solutions, and contribute to continuous optimization of operations.
- Apply H3SEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) rules.
- Participate in HSE campaigns, safety audits, and anomaly follow-up.
- Coordinate actions with the onboard HSE Supervisor and promote a strong safety culture.
- Verify document compliance (certificates, checklists) and ensure the traceability of installed equipment.
- Participate in operational meetings (HIRA level 2, pre-job meetings, shift meetings, etc.).
- Work closely with contractor teams to ensure the smooth execution of the installation campaign.
- At least 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with significant experience in offshore EPCI projects.
- Proven experience on installation vessels (PLSV, rigid lay, OSR), related to complex operations (Lazy wave, pull-in/out, subsea structures...).
- Expertise in underwater operations and contractual interfaces.
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian regulations (NR).
- Strong skills in coordination, problem-solving, team management, and crisis management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Salary to be defined based on profile and status (expatriate or local).
- Offshore missions aboard the project’s vessels.
- Estimated duration: 5 months (renewable).
