In which organization will you be working as a Senior Construction Planner? We are looking for a Senior Construction Planner for one of our clients, a key player in the oil and gas sector, to work on high-value construction, offshore, onshore, and decommissioning projects. Senior Construction Planner: What will your missions and responsibilities be? As a Senior Construction Planner, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and controlling all planning activities for construction. You will actively contribute to aligning execution schedules, analyzing risks, tracking resources, and coordinating between project stakeholders. Your responsibilities include: Development and Management of Planning:
- Create and maintain integrated construction activity schedules (onshore, offshore, decommissioning).
- Define critical milestones related to engineering, procurement, operations, shutdowns, and marine logistics.
- Implement WBS structures and coding in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager, superintendents, project managers, and execution teams.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments (engineering, procurement, operations, HSE, etc.) to integrate all planning dependencies.
- Participate in look-ahead planning sessions and planning review meetings.
- Monitor work progress and propose mitigation measures in case of deviation.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports: resource histograms, critical path analysis, risk alerts.
- Align planning deliverables with the phases of Mechanical Completion and Commissioning.
- Support schedules related to end-of-life scopes (SIMOPS, interfaces, mobilization/demobilization).
- Provide feedback in "lessons learned" sessions.
- Degree in Engineering or HND in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Primavera certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project planner in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 5 years in senior planning roles, including brownfield projects.
- Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Ability to integrate multidisciplinary data into a single master schedule.
- Strong understanding of project interfaces (operations, shutdowns, logistics).
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Completion and commissioning processes.
