Which company will you be joining as a “Senior O&G Contract Engineer (M/F)”?

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a "Senior O&G Contract Engineer” for a 12-month contract based in Pau (France).  The expected start date is mid-January 2026.

 

“Senior O&G Contract Engineer (M/F)”:  What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Objectives & Deliverables

  1. Conduct and lead Calls for Tenders (CFTs): Manage the tendering process on behalf of the Business Unit, following company procedures and securing all necessary authorizations in line with the company’s purchasing governance rules
  2. Develop procurement strategies: Collaborate with technical teams to design effective procurement strategies, optimize costs while maintaining quality, ensure compliance with deadlines, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  3. Facilitate communication and anticipate issues: Identify and share potential blocking points and relevant information, working closely with the Categories team and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the procurement process
  4. Ensure legal and fiscal compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of the legal and fiscal environment associated with CFTs
  5. Lead Recommendation to Award: Contribute to and lead the preparation of Recommendation to Award documents for presentation to decision-making boards
  6. Evaluate and mitigate risks: Conduct thorough assessments of contractual and supplier-related risks, develop mitigation plans, and define alternatives to ensure operational continuity in case of unforeseen events
  7. Manage negotiations and contracts: Conduct negotiations independently, draft associated contracts, ensure files are submitted to responsible entities, and accurately transmit key contract data to users
  8. Documentation and archiving: Archive all necessary information and ensure effective documentation management for future audits and controls
