In which organization will you work – Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor / Commissioning Technician?
We are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor / Commissioning Technician for one of our clients in the energy sector, based in Montoir-de-Bretagne.
Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor / Commissioning Technician: What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Reports to the Site Construction Manager

Is responsible, within his/her discipline, for executing construction works and services in accordance with the established schedule

Supervises the works and immediately implements corrective actions in case of deviation from the Site HSE Plan, quality procedures, and schedules, and informs the Construction Manager

Ensures the implementation of the Site HSE Plan

Participates in preparing work permits and special permits
-
Verifies that contractors are working with the correct and latest revision of documents

Prepares additional and supplementary work orders

Supervises and controls the issue of materials (e.g. piping, cables, instrumentation) together with the Materials Manager

Reviews and comments on detailed schedules prepared by contractors

Monitors progress as reported by contractors

Verifies information recorded on “as-built” documents

Prepares punch lists and ensures follow-up until completion

Participates in site meetings with subcontractors and suppliers

Is responsible for on-site quality control, in accordance with procedures

Provides technical assistance to contractors, particularly at the Engineering / Construction interface

Produces a daily report

Organizes the work in accordance with instructions from his/her manager

Checks daily manpower reports on site

Writes ongoing feedback throughout the project
What profile and skills are required for the position of Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor / Commissioning Technician?

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in revamping projects in the petrochemical industry
-
Significant experience with gas installations (storage, transportation)
-
Strong experience in preparation and follow-up of electrical and instrumentation works
-
Preparation of work acceptance documentation
-
Management of quality acceptance follow-up
-
Proficiency with IT tools and databases
