What kind of structure will you be joining as an suppliers accountant?
We are looking for a suppliers accountant (M/F) to join our finance team at our headquarters based in Balma (Occitanie, France), within a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-growing environment.
Suppliers accountant: What will your missions and responsibilities be?
As a suppliers accountant, you will report directly to the accounting manager for France and join a small team of 3 people, covering 7 legal entities. Your main tasks will include:
Invoice processing:
- Managing the dedicated mailbox for incoming supplier invoices
- Digitally filing and archiving documents, and performing formal checks
- Posting invoices in the accounting software (Quadra Comptabilité)
- Monitoring the internal approval workflow (“ready for payment”)
Payments and supplier relations:
- Preparing and executing payments on due dates (bank transfers)
- Handling supplier follow-ups, credit note requests, or dispute resolutions
- Performing account reconciliations and regularly analyzing the supplier aging balance
Accounting closings:
- Calculating and entering end-of-period accruals (FNP, CCA, etc.)
- Actively participating in quarterly closings
Expense reports and ERP:
- Reviewing and validating expense reports in line with internal policies
- Posting and tracking related payments
- Actively contributing to the upcoming ERP migration project
What profile and skills are required for this role?
Education:
- 2- or 3-year degree (BTS/DUT or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience in a multi-entity environment is a plus.
Technical skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Quadra) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of closing processes and supplier management workflows.
Personal qualities:
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.
- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a structured and evolving environment.
