In which structure will you work as a Physical Measurements Technician?

We are looking for a Physical Measurements Technician for one of our clients in the steel industry, based in Nevers, France.


Physical Measurements Technician: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

  • Operate and configure test benches for magnetic and physical measurements of materials

  • Prepare test reports and study reports, including analysis of results

  • Take responsibility for study programs, including:

    • Production and preparation of samples

    • Monitoring of internal and outsourced characterizations

    • Centralization and exploitation of results

  • Contribute to the expertise of Aperam’s industrial products and competitor products

  • Actively participate in laboratory and site safety activities


What profile and skills are required for this Physical Measurements Technician position?

  • Bac +2 / Bac +3 in Physical Measurements (IUT, BTS, Professional Bachelor, etc.)

  • Good level of written and spoken French (report writing)

  • Reading comprehension of technical English

  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Team spirit, curiosity, rigor, and a sense of responsibility

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
