What structure will you join as an Inside Sales Engineer?
You will join the Service Department of our client, a specialist in industrial equipment, for a 6-month consulting assignment with the potential for permanent employment.
Inside Sales Engineer: What will your duties and responsibilities be?
Manage the full sales cycle: preparing quotations, order follow-up, invoicing, and reminders.
Provide commercial support: qualifying customer needs, proactively creating and following up on quotes, identifying upselling opportunities, and consistent use of the CRM system.
Participate in purchasing: drafting and sending purchase orders, monitoring acknowledgements, and following up with suppliers.
Manage logistics and inventory: goods receipt, inventory control, handling national & international transport (Incoterms FCA/DAP/DDP), and document archiving.
Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving products and customer relationships.
What profile and skills are required for this Inside Sales Engineer position?
Education
Two-year higher education diploma (BTS/DUT) in purchasing, logistics, international trade, or technical sales.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in industry (energy, mechanical, metallurgy, petrochemical, waste management…) and/or engineering.
Occasional short trips within France and Europe.
Skills
Proficient in Excel & Word; working knowledge of English.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, export trade, logistics, and purchasing/sales processes.
Detail-oriented, good listener, customer-focused, rigorous, and committed.
