In which structure will you be Vendor Performance Coordinator?
We are looking for one of our clients, a major player in the engineering and energy sector, a Vendor Performance Coordinator, to be based in Nanterre. 

Vendor Performance Coordinator: What will be your missions and responsibilities?
  • Coordinate all shop expediting and inspection activities in support of the Lead Shop Coordinator.
  • Act as the main interface with the Project, being the single point of accountability for supplier purchase order follow-up.
  • Define expediting and inspection levels according to the project’s criticality analysis.
  • Prepare and issue assignment requests for Shop Expeditors and Inspectors with Resource Management support.
  • Ensure vendor production schedules are properly issued and cover all activities (engineering, sub-orders, manufacturing, testing, delivery).
  • Organize and attend hand-over meetings with vendors and inspectors (on-site or remotely).
  • Review and analyze supplier monthly progress and expediting reports before distribution.
  • Identify and highlight any potential critical paths/events that may impact delivery dates, coordinating with Delivery Managers and construction planning.
  • Prepare required reports and attend recurrent project/vendor meetings (e.g. Post-Order, Project Management Team).
  • Report directly to the Project VP Manager.
 
What profile and skills for this Vendor Performance Coordinator position?

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation…) or Business/Management School.
Experience : At least 10 years of experience in inspection, quality, engineering, manufacturing, supplier development/quality, or project management.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with experience handling critical equipment packages (PVHE, valves, piping, E&I, Long Lead Items).
Skills : Strong knowledge of Material Management Systems (e.g. Smart Materials – Intergraph). Fluent in spoken and written English. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
