HSE LEADER - RESIDENT (M/F)

Which company will you be joining as a “HSE Leader (M/F)”?

We are recruiting, for one of our clients, a HSE Leader (M/F) for a 12-month mission in Luanda (Angola).  This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.

 

 

“HSE Leader (M/F)” What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Mission Context

• Support the HSE Manager in promoting the Safety Culture Program and achieving HSE project objectives
• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the HSE Management System across all projects
• Coordinate contractor HSE oversight, including the organization and execution of audit and inspection programs
• Contribute to risk assessments, criticality evaluations, and the definition of mitigation measures throughout all project phases
• Participate in HSE reviews and studies (e.g., hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety analyses)
• Review and validate contractors’ HSE procedures and documentation
• Manage interface and bridging documentation, including emergency response arrangements
• Maintain and follow up on HSE action plans and tracking registers for observations and corrective actions
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding contractors’ lifting operations
• Provide support to site HSE personnel and project teams; supervise HSE activities on site
• Consolidate site data into periodic HSE reports at the project level
• Contribute to project close-out documentation and lessons learned

 

 

What profile and skills are required for this “HSE Leader (M/F)” role?

Required Profile

Education & Experience

·       Master’s degree in Engineering or HSE

·       10+ years in Oil & Gas (construction and/or operations)

·       Safety engineering experience preferred

·       International/multicultural experience required

 

Language

·       English & French (mandatory); Portuguese (a plus)

 

Key skills
