We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a “HSE SUPERVISOR (M/F)” for 6-month renewable contract based in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on a 4x4 rotation basis.    


“HSE SUPERVISOR (M/F)”:  What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Activities

• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior in line with Company Ethics, Code of Conduct, and HSSE rules, ensuring promotion and implementation by the Construction team
• Stay informed of Company Referential documents and relevant international standards, applying them to the Project
• Liaise with the Operation Safety Leader on HSSE updates and develop site-specific HSSE instructions as required
• Review Contractor and Subcontractor HSSE documentation and verify proper implementation
• Conduct routine and random HSSE inspections, report anomalies or unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Participate in meetings, audits, safety tours, and HSSE Committees to promote compliance and safety culture
• Supervise day-to-day Construction activities, enforce Contractor/Subcontractor contractual HSSE commitments, provide guidance, and track incidents/KPIs
• Onboard, report to the Company Offshore Representative, implement HSE campaigns, record incidents, consolidate statistics, and promote company’ HSE culture
• Implement and communicate Golden Rules, verify HSE documentation onboard, witness operations, and collaborate closely with onboard HSE supervisors

 
What profile and skills are required for this “HSE SUPERVISOR (M/F)” role?

Required Qualifications and Background

• Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years offshore
• Experience in Similar Position: 5–10 years
• Level / Diploma: Engineer or equivalent

Languages:

• Fluent Portuguese
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Technical Knowledge:

• HSE specifications
• Brazilian offshore regulations for marine, environment, and NR
• Deep understanding of SIMOPS and HSE rules
