We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a “Radio Operator – Offshore/FPSO (M/F)” with previous FPSO experience for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The position is based in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), on a 14x14 rotation. This opportunity is open to Brazilian nationals or professionals who are legally authorized to work in Brazil.

Position Summary:
Ensures safe and continuous monitoring of radio communications onboard. Manages emergency communications and supports operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor VHF/UHF, aeronautical, and SSB
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with vessels/aircraft
- Maintain communication logs
- Mandatory Trainings (R): CBSP, GMDSS
What profile and skills are required for this “Radio Operator - Offshore (M/F)” role?
Requirements:
- Education: Radio Operator technical certification
- Experience: 5+ years in offshore communication
- Skills: Marine comms, GMDSS, emergency coordination
- Language: English advanced
- Certificates: GMDSS, CBSP
