Which organization will you join as a Control & Safety System Engineer (M/F)?

 

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, a Control & Safety System Engineer (M/F), based in Nanterre.

 
 
Control & Safety System Engineer (M/F): What will your missions and responsibilities be?
  • Preparation/update of technical specifications (DCS/SIS)
  • Preparation/update of control system architectures (ICSS)
  • Participation in ICSS basic and/or detailed engineering studies
  • Follow-up of internal and/or external interfaces
  • Participation in validation activities related to the installation aspects of control, safety, fire & gas systems (cabinet quantities, typical loops, etc.)
  • Preparation of functional specifications: functional analysis, control narratives, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams
  • Follow-up of functional safety studies
  • Reporting to the Lead

 

What profile and skills are required for this Control & Safety System Engineer (M/F) position?
  • Knowledge of Control & Safety Systems specific to Oil & Gas
  • Understanding of ICSS know-how (Offshore/Onshore, networks)
  • Knowledge of processes and/or Fire & Gas (F&G) rules in Oil & Gas
  • Experience working with interfaces, both internal (engineering disciplines) and external (partners, subcontractors, vendors)
  • Knowledge of ICSS installation and validation aspects
  • Familiarity with applicable standards: ISA 5.1/2/3/4/5/6
  • Knowledge of applicable standards: IEC 61511 / IEC 62443 and ideally IEC 61511 certification (TÜV – QUALI-SIL)
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio)
  • Fluent in English
