In what environment will you work as an HVAC Project Manager (M/F)?
We are currently looking for an HVAC Project Manager (M/F) for one of our clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. The position will be based in Occitanie, as part of a 6-month consulting assignment, renewable.
Mission Context
You will work at a leading industrial site as part of the engineering team. Your role will involve managing complex HVAC and air handling engineering projects, from the design phase through to final on-site acceptance.
HVAC Project Manager (M/F): What will be your roles and responsibilities?
- Manage HVAC projects from the design phase — including specifications and tendering — through to execution and commissioning.
- Coordinate subcontractors, engineering firms and technical teams working on site.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and pharmaceutical industry quality standards (cGMP/GMP).
- Monitor project budgets, schedules and progress reporting.
- Actively participate in the qualification and validation phases of installations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Work closely with internal departments, including Production, Maintenance and Quality.
What profile and skills are required for this HVAC Project Manager (M/F) position?
Experience
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in similar HVAC project management roles, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical, chemical or cleanroom industries.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, air handling and industrial utilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and construction project methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills when working with subcontractors.
Education
- Engineering degree or equivalent university qualification, ideally specializing in Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, HVAC Engineering or Process Engineering.
