We are seeking, for a major industrial project, a Piping / Structure Supervisor (M/F) based in Ivory Coast (Abidjan).

 

“Piping / Structure Supervisor (M/F)” What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, supervise and verify piping and structural works across different sites

• Validate piping general arrangement drawings and isometrics

• Review piping flexibility analyses and stress calculations

• Verify the sizing of steel structures, pipe-racks and access platforms

• Participate in 3D model reviews, including clash detection, accessibility and safety

• Prepare, organize and supervise contractors’ site activities

• Ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, procedures and QHSE requirements

• Participate in tender preparation, bid analysis and selection of technical solutions

• Monitor the availability and conformity of personnel, equipment, materials and logistics required for the works
• Participate in work acceptance, punch list management and preparation of final work dossiers

 

What profile and skills are required for this “Piping / Structure Supervisor (M/F)” role?

Required Profile

• Higher technical diploma (BTS or equivalent and above)

• 10 to 15 years of experience in piping and steel structure works, including experience in the oil & gas industry

• Experience managing multi-discipline construction activities, particularly piping and steel structures

• Good knowledge of piping flexibility, structural calculation and 3D modelling/visualization tools

• Good knowledge of international codes and standards, particularly API and ISO

• Good knowledge of oil & gas industry practices, including metallurgy, welding procedures and qualifications, work permits and QHSE

• English: written and spoken

• Valid BOSIET / HUET certification

• Strong leadership, autonomy, rigor and team management skills

• Ability to work in demanding environments, offshore, onshore and remote sites

• Mission Conditions

• Duration: 1 year renewable, with potential evolution to a long-term residential position

• Rotation: 6/3 flexible

• Accommodation, transportation and communication tools provided

• Travel in Premium Economy or equivalent
