Training & Competency Coordinator

In which organization will you be Training & Competency Coordinator?

We are looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for a Training & Competency Coordinator, who will be based in Nanterre (+ travel to England).

 

Training & Competency Coordinator: What will your duties and responsibilities be?

• Training strategy & matrix: defines training needs by position, builds the O&M training matrix
• Skills gap analysis: skills matrix, identification of gaps, closure plans
• Content management: receiving/checking materials provided by licensors, OEMs (GE Vernova in particular) and vendors
• Vendor coordination: session planning (classroom, workshop, field), monitoring of contractual training obligations
• Competency assurance: theoretical/practical assessments, tracking of qualifications and authorizations
• Commissioning/start-up support: ensures personnel are trained before each system handover
• Compliance: tracking of mandatory training, expiration dates, refresher courses, audits

What profile and skills are needed for this Training & Competency Coordinator position?

• Minimum 5 years in industrial training / competency assurance / HR development
• Experience in Power Gen, Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemicals, Carbon Capture, or process industries
• Background in commissioning/start-up + coordination of OEM/vendor training
• Proficiency with LMS (Learning Management Systems)
• Engineering degree, technical training, L&D, HR, or operations management background
• Fluent English (written/spoken) required
