CSR Our social and environmental responsibility

Global and local environmental commitments for a sustainable future

Since 2022, EP2C has been committed to strengthening its Corporate Social Responsibility through a number of concrete initiatives. Our 2023-2026 environmental policy is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Our carbon footprint

Following the completion of our carbon footprint in 2023, we have set ourselves targets to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions:

Our flagship measures include:

  • Digitalising our processes and reducing our printing by 60% over the period 2023-2026.
  • Drafting a responsible purchasing policy favouring products that have less impact on the environment (recycled) and are better for your health (organic, fair trade).
  • The deployment of a comprehensive sorting proposal at all our sites.

Community involvement

EP2C is proud to contribute to world-class decarbonisation and biodiversity protection projects, while taking concrete local action.

ReforestAction project in Brazil:

Prevention of unplanned deforestation in native forests, with the protection of over 700 km of watercourses and 30 vulnerable animal species.

Drinking water programme in Mozambique

Installation of 6 drinking water wells, benefiting more than 596,000 people and reducing emissions through fuel switching.

ClimateSeed

Participation in a local reforestation project in Madagascar

In February 2024, our team based in Madagascar took part in the planting of 900 trees, contributing to local reforestation. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to biodiversity, while actively involving our employees in concrete actions to protect the environment.

The safety and well-being of our employees is a priority

Health and safety at work

At EP2C, we recognise that the health and safety of our teams is essential to our success. As a result, we have implemented a rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Management System that guarantees safety at all our international sites.

Key objectives:
To ensure a safe working environment, prevent accidents, and guarantee 24-hour assistance for our employees in the most complex environments.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES AND WELL-BEING AT WORK

Because nothing is more precious to us than people, we ensure that all our talent is treated fairly and with respect, without discrimination.

This includes a charter of good recruitment practices that is clearly defined and communicated to all employees involved.

This focus on fairness is accompanied by concrete measures to ensure the day-to-day well-being of our employees, in line with our fundamental values:

  • Regular awareness-raising initiatives (QWL Week, Pink October, postures at work, etc.)
  • Provision of the Ma Bonne Fée QWL platform
  • Free access to sports classes

Our certifications: IOT, ECOVADIS, MASE, ISO9001, etc.

EP2C is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Ecovadis bronze medal for 2025.

With an improvement of 7 points compared to 2024, we are affirming our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, by placing people, our business relationships and the environment at the heart of our priorities.
